Rainy for last 2 days . 10°C tonight.Striped bass are still biting . So are the black flies and mosquitoes. No complaints on this end as its not snowing and I can deal with the rain and bugs .
I missed the Zoom thing. Hope to catch next one . Jason sure does some nice work on his lathe . Heard you're still having tacos . You're a lucky man Chris!
Thanks Patrick! Spine wear is when the spine is uneven because pressure on the razor was uneven during the honing process. Sometimes, it is done on purpose because the razor's edge was chipped or the geometry was wobbly. Most of the time, it was due to poor honing technique over many decades. Joe
I did reply, Patrick. It has alcohol. It was the Kootenay Blue that was alcohol free. Edit- I see from later post you already knew that...
Very interesting. Thanks Joe. I knew it was one or the other Jason, I just couldn't remember. Thanks for answering Tim's question for me.

June 8 SOTD: Razor: Gillette '41 Ranger Tech Blade: Polsilver Brush: PAA Peregrino Lather: Tabac Aftershave: Tabac After a no-shave weekend, I was ready for a nice one this morning. I got the Ranger Tech out last night, so I was ready. The Tabac whipped up a great lather and the shave was smooth. Two passes and DFS. A little matching AS, and I smell a little like an old man, but I am ready for my day. I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great day!
First of all, I apologize for the shavette-fu and for not properly responding to the kind comments and excellent posts. Yesterday was the rare visit from both of my children at the same time and we spent the day working in the garden; trimming dog nails; cooking a bit and ignoring the rest of the world. Thanks, Jeff. My photography is rudimentary at best, but you're kind. The slant is completely unnecessary for a great shave, but I have enjoyed the Fatip razors in the past, so I gave this one a try. The price is very reasonable. You are so right, Joe. ...and I have heard them all, Jason. Thank you, Sensei. Looking forward to your restoration project. Thanks, Tim. To be honest, it drops a hair or two with each shave, but I figure, in my rotation, it should last another 50 years. The juice inside that bottle is what reminds me of my father, Andrew. He went from AV to Aramis, until he quit shaving all together. Thank you, Clint. I hope you had a great weekend, too.
Big day today starting at 530 am. Up at 3 am getting everything together. No shave, though. Hope you all are well. Can't wait to come back and stir up some trouble. Has @Primotenore experienced any more granules?
