    Things are going OK.

Left side is tacos de lengua, right half is tacos de asada.

    They were excellent.

    Understood.

On a different note, how’s the Krampert’s Frostbite? I’ve read the scent description from their website but I don’t get a real idea of it. Also, is it face freezing or just “menthol detected” strength?

I’ve never tried beef tongue. How is it?

Thanks, Joe! The razor not so much, but the cream, most definitely!

The Krampert’s is ok! It’s far from face-freezing. It does leave a sticky residue, which I’m not wild about! It’s slightly cool.

Gillette TTOs don’t work well for me, Jim. I can always get a DFS, but if I try to push beyond my skin suffers.

    Just the Basics June!

    Soap - D.R. Harris Marlborough
    Brush - I*V10 Hybrid
    Post - Alum

So, I heard there was a tropical something or other that was supposed to flood us out. Ummmm......still here. Pretty unimpressive. Although in Southwestern Kansas where I grew up and the wind is usually 30mph on a calm day they had big rolled hay bales blowing away. Literally blowing away. Rolling across roads and fields. Now THAT'S some wind.

One more night with the CJB and Feather Pro. For the rest of the "basics" how about a shave stick. D.R. Harris Marlborough for the face rub and the hybrid brush turned that soap into enough lather for everyone here and a few more as well. Smooth sailing with the pain stick and a near-BBS was the result after three very comfy and nice passes. Yep. I seriously could go full-time pain sticks at some point. I know, I know, I keep saying that but maybe some day. Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Cool effect, Jim. I’ve been occasionally using enhanced Florida Water as a body spray after a shower as well. Really like it.
Sorry to hear the razor isn’t a fave. It is a stunner, though.
I find the TTOs fine, but really enjoy virtually every 3 piece Gillette I’ve tried.
Any of the NEWs are fantastic in my book.

Tuesday Shave: Woke up a little late and followed my own advice and opted for the Rocnel-G instead of straight. This razors is easy to handle and good for a 'quick' shave. Worked the Fine Soap over good, I think there is just one shave left in the bowl. The results was excellent, I do enjoy this razor.

Wednesday Shave: Another test for MWF, this time with a straight razor. The Thäter 2 band made a great lather out of The Fat and the shave was epic.

Looking good Chris. We have a small taco dive joint that makes an great Lengua taco. It's not something you see on every menu here.
