Switched back to a prewar Tech for the 'basics' focus. Whipped up an outstanding lather. Jeeves really is top notch for me. Loaded in a fresh PermaSharp and had 3 easy passes. I'm not completely smooth on my neck, but I didn't chase it either. 4 hours later and I still get some of the nice scent.
    Have a great day all!
  2. Terrific shave, Jason! I like the razor stand.
  3. Nice!
I had Jeeves BoS in my hand last night for this morning's shave when I spotted The Drunken Goat. BoS for tomorrow!

  4. Fantastic photo, shave, and report, Jason! :D
  5. I'm going to try and finish a tub of soap. Something I have yet to do in my wetshaving journey. I've been thinking about a way to do it that I can realistically stick to. Starting Monday I'm going to go with one soap and stay with the one soap but just on working days. That'll be at least four days a week until the tub is empty. I'm going to use PAA Astra Planeta. The scent is pretty meh to me and I'll be happy to have it off the shelf.

    The Shave
Face lathered again today for a three pass (WTG, XTG, ATG) shave. I find getting the rather wet consistency I like a bit difficult to do when face lathering--doable, but messy. Very messy. But I eventually got a nice, yogurty, slick and smokey lather going. Some of it even stayed on my face

No issues today as I gradually whittled away at the facial hair for each pass. It was looking like another DFS by the end of the third pass, but I decided to do some touching up on the chin and jaw--a couple quick XTG swipes got me pretty darned close to a BBS, but not quite. Good enough for a weekday shave. No blood or irritation. Very pleased.

Now to clean the lather off the mirrors, walls, and ceiling--happy Hump Day, all :D

    90 down, 10 to go!
