  3. June 10th

    Razor: TNNSER
    Blade: GEM Stainless
Brush: Wild West Brushworks 30mm Tuxedo
    SS: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man

Got a 3D printer so I had to print one of these. I was skeptical, but the shave was really nice. Another keeper.

I've missed being a part of this group. Found out I am losing half my team at work. I am being put on a new project and most my team is being left behind to maintain my previous project.

It's a good thing but it still hurts. These are the people who stepped in and met all our project deadlines after my wife's heart attack. They litterly took the top half of my performance reviews. Now I get to build a new team on a new green field project. Anyway, emotions run high these days. Today I reported that the team is healthier than it's ever been and ready to function without me. It was a bitter sweet day today.

And it started with an excellent shave.
  4. Thank for the kind words Jason. Sincerely appreciated!
  5. Great job on the razor, Evan!
Yes, sounds like an emotional day at work, no question.
  6. THAT is an awesome brush Tim. Congrats.

Thank you very much Jeff! :signs001:

Very cool with the printer, shave and report Evan!

Congratulations on the bittersweet success at work as well! It’s nice when they notice!
  7. Thanks for the update and hope that your wife is recovering well.
  8. Thanks, Jason--I know just the brush to try it with tomorrow ;) :D
  9. It's crazy-strange you should mention the TNNSER! Just today, I was talking with my sister, and she mentioned that they were thinking if getting a 3D printer. Since she just got in to wet shaving, I told her about the TNNSER. And then 6 hours later I see you shaved with one. Glad to hear it was worth the ABS :D

Sounds like you have some momentous things happening at work--kind of like having a child grow up to successfully stand on its own. Proud/sad seems to be the way of it. I'm sure the new project and team will work out every bit as well as the last. I wish you all the best :)

  12. Thanks Tim! I'm excited to reset and do it again. My TNNSER is PLA. Seems solid enough.
  13. Evan, it is hard to leave a good team behind. But you never the future and you maybe reunited.
  14. Thanks, Jason.
The razor looks like it came out great, Evan!
I trust everything will be good at work going forward.

  17. Nice shave, Evan! That is the mark of a good leader, one who prepares the team to move without them. I know it is tough to leave them, but congrats!
