I had to have Asha at the airport at 5:30am so it was a very early shower and shave for me. Inspired by @Primotenore , I will stick with Mike's OC&BP until its gone. Both the Chel and Star Jelly are at best a thick liquid. I think the heat during shipment cooked them. Even so the Chel used as preshave provides a fantastic cooling sensation that last well beyond the shave. Despite the time constraints this morning, I managed to catch the baby. I hope everyone has a great Monday

    Good morning!

Awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum.

Astra Planeta, my workday soap until it's gone. Today was the fifth use. I'm going to guess about seventy more to go.

    Have a great day!

  9. Great looking shave and photo Jim. Maybe it won't take 70 shaves to finish the soap.

  10. Thanks, Clint!
I was basing my guess on the one Stirling sample I finished. If I remember correctly I got fourteen shaves from the ounce of soap. I did load extra heavy this morning and that's the plan moving forward.

  15. Nice shave, Tim. Using a DE after a shavette is quite different than when you first used a DE, isn't it?
