    SOTD MONDAY, June 15, 2020

Welcome to Menthol Monday! After a series of great shaves with my three Auto Strop razors, I decided to go with some of my French razors. Although I own a complete Famex, my preferred shaver is my FrankenFamex. It’s comprised of a Rockwell SS cap, an ATT Atlas handle, and, of course, a Famex baseplate. Both the Famex and the Le Coq are Cage Head razors, but only the Famex is adjustable.

The shave went well! Two passes (WTG, ATG) in a delightfully mentholated environment. The synthetic menthol in the Chel Gel lasted through the shave and for at least 1 1/2 hours afterwards. My skin feels great! I feel clean, cool, velveteen smooth and refreshed.

RAZOR: FrankenFamex (Rockwell SS Top Cap, ATT Atlas handle, Famex baseplate)
    BLADE: Sharp Star (2)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by Chel Cooling Gel
    BRUSH: MrEE Hybrid Knot #007
CREAM: Nancy Boy Signature w/6 drops M-Bomb
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Humphreys Lilac WH and Nancy Boy Signature Scent After-Shave Cooling Gel.
