Great shave lineup and photo. The pup is just so damn cute.
  4. Thank you Andrew. My Chel has the consistency of a partially melted milkshake. You can see it move in the jar when tilted. Either way it works.

    Thank you Joe.

Thank you Tim. I honestly picked this Mike's because I thought it would be the easiest to finish. The fact that I like it is a huge bonus.

    The Shave
Decided to face lather today--Iced Pineapple is so much cooler when the soap is applied directly to the face. The JOmegan brush is a champion face latherer, and I got great, sweet, pineapple yogurty results.

Three passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) with some significant touching up got me near BBS this morning--one small weeper under my nose on the 1st pass, no irritation. I have to work pretty hard to get those results with this Shavette/blade combo. Shallow angle. Steep angle. The steel cuts just as much as it wants to and not a bit more no matter what I do. I’ve binned the blade and will start with a fresh one tomorrow. If I get the same results, I may try to go with a 4 pass shave rather than 3 pass with infinite touch ups

This Monday is about done--hope it went well :D

    94 down, 6 to go!

  19. Congrats on face lathering Tim! Its kinda the way I started out and the easiest way for me to make lather . Only 6 more to go. Wooooo
