I'm set on DE blades and Tabac...for now.
If I recall correctly, Tabac was voted the #1 shave soap in South Korea and Kentucky. That assumes you are manly and don't like granules in your shave soap.
Hamiltons are spiffy tool watches worn by a select few ultra cool types.
They flipped a whole bunch of houses on HGTV today. You can only watch paint dry for so long in the hospital...then there's HGTV and the Karve Shaving website.
I saw an "
Eating Well" magazine in the Family Lounge in the transplant area of the hospital. I had to laugh as hardly anybody feels like eating anything there.
@NCoxSTL...I met some folks a couple of days ago from Kansas City. They claim to have the best BBQ ribs. I don't know if they're right or not. I'm willing to make the trip and sample a few to see for myself. I'll swing by to pick you up in a few.
I have wiped off the dinner table in the transplant house (always with an approved commercial restaurant sanitizer, of course) more times in 3 weeks than I have at home in 33 years of marriage. I also get a freshly washed coffee cup (actually a soup mug...see comment below) at least once a day.
A nurse here said it was not a good idea to have a cup of coffee after 2 p.m. I took her at her word. I've been drinking my afternoon and evening coffee out of soup mugs. I am a lifelong learner.
I met a delightful man from Alaska here getting a transplant. He showed me pictures of his past hunts for Grizzly Bear, Elk, massive fish, and other big game. His eyes lit up when he spoke about living in Alaska. This morning I said,
"I bet them grizzlies are shaking in their boots and wondering when you'll get home." Without missing a beat, he said,
"You bet. I'm goin' after the first one with a jack knife. I want to give him a fair chance." That pretty much sums up the fighting spirit of the folks I'm meeting here.
