  7. Thank you Jason. Asha and the ladies did pick out the solid cologne. They surprised me by having Father’s Day early while she was in town.

  8. Thanks, Jason!
Sticking with the same soap on working days until it's gone will take some dedication. We'll see what happens. As of now it's just talk.
    How cool!

  12. Thanks for the update, Charlie. Glad to hear that Kathy is doing well. Stay strong and looking forward to your SOTD photos with the Karve. ;)
BTW, did you read that Gary is using a soap with granules????
  13. Awesome photo Jim. The soap destroyer will help make the soap disappear.

  14. Those two things are NOT mutually exclusive. Just sayin'.
  15. Thanks, Jason. Oh, I get the baby-thing, but I most often get it when I don't "chase" it. That was what I was trying to say, clearly unclearly.

I had several packages arrive at the homestead yesterday which included the Phoenix DOC, Dubll Duck handle and a bulk order of Proline injector blades. Given my complete lack of patience, the DOC was up for today's shave. Digging in the back of my cabinet, I discovered the Rubberset 400 being neglected which makes a perfect pairing with the DOC. I really like the feel of this brush while face lathering. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. As usual the my lower right neck was my nemesis. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
  17. Thanks, Clint! I loaded the heck out of the brush this morning.
Congrats on all the goodies! Great shave and picture!

  18. The CH2 synthetics do eat through the soap. Thank you Jim. Waiting on a package from Maggard's with an Omega brush for the knot and a tub of Cella green soap/cream. My Tatara boar brush is on the way from Portugal. With that and the upcoming shipment of the Tradere razor, I will have more than enough new stuff to keep me occupied.
  19. Nice!
I ordered a Shoate full gel boar knot from TnS to try out.
