    The Shave
I wanted to make sure I didn’t lose my touch with the badger, so I pulled it off the trout-string of brushes--I lost my touch with the badger. In the badger’s defense, my touch with it was always somewhat tenuous. The lather was not a wreck by any means, but it was airier than I normally prefer it.

I’ve got a few shaves with the Strong Leopard under my belt, and I’ve come to some conclusions: I can get decent shaves out of it, but it is work. I blame inefficiency. Usually when I find a razor to be inefficient, the problem can be found staring back at me in the mirror. I'm sure there is probably some of that going on too, but this time the razor is definitely a major contributor. The clip holding the door closed is located at the spine, and it’s snug; however, as you move down ¾ of an inch towards the blade, it gets just a bit looser. Those blades are looong and thin, and if they aren't smashed tight together, there is going to be some play. And there is. Not tons, but a good enough amount to require more passes or touch ups, which always increases my risk of irritation. Always a potential deal-breaker.

I did three passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) and decided to forego the touch ups today. DFS with no blood, and only light irritation.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday :D

    95 down, 5 to go!

Thank you so much for the kind words Jim!

Thank you Andrew, wasn't planning on another Drew Dick razor, but when the seller's images came across a BST...just couldn't resist.

Sincerely appreciate the kind words Joe!

Thanks and Thanks and yeah, I know right!?! :thanks:

Sincerely appreciate the kind words Gary!

Thank you so much Clint! Appreciated!

Thanks Tim! I was hooked with the two tone scales as soon as I saw it....the maker being DD and the damascus steel was just icing on the meat loaf! Our house hold seems to gravitate towards spicy and sweet scents...so the NO BarrBarr is wifey approved.

IMG_4890.jpg Early morning shave, early evening post. Had a great 'Tobacco Tuesday' shave with some fave products. The Goodwill and Omega may be 'basic' but are an excellent hardware combo. I can never go wrong with this software, either. I was quite smooth this morning, no question.
    Have a great day/evening all!

Thanks Tim! I was very blessed with eggplant Parmesan, sausage and peppers, antipasto, homemade banana bread, tea and cookies. Of course, a goodie bag and money that was given to me as well. I was really surprised when my pastor showed up as well. I haven't seen her live in 3 months. She stayed for the food and fellowship as well.

Great report and picture, Tim! Could you find another razor that uses those blades? At least it’s not a total loss if you don’t use the Leopard much.

Very nice Paul! I'm not the biggest fan of abundant clove in bay rum...kind of does get to be overwhelming with some versions.

Wow Mark! Really like the way the handle on your Wolfman has patina'd....very cool.

Nice Joseph! Love the setup and colors, great stropping job! That almost sounds....well....
