  1. Thanks Paul! I turned 65 yesterday! I never thought 65 would feel this good!

  2. All right, fellas, I have a "theory". I don't think my face and neck have ever felt so smooth than this morning, as result of a canned shave foam. As you know, I recently had two shaves with the PIFed Bill Neumann shave "cream", and went through a Stoylin bodywash. Both are considered great for "skin-friendly" shave products. Here's the theory.....the introduction of the Bill Neumann cream and Stoylin bodywash have laid a foundation for my skin to accept shave products as it(skin)never has before, regardless the brand? Course I plan to get more Bill Neumann and another Stoylin bodywash soon, but in the meantime, what's going on here?????(if anything).
  3. I think you're onto something, Paul!

  4. Oh that's right it was yesterday. That's when I thought my haircut was, until the barberette corrected me and said that would be today. And that's a great attitude for 65(y'know, not ALL attitudes are bad).

  5. Excellent shave Joseph! Yes, I would call it a Spanish pt!
  6. Well, that's interesting indeed. I'll be following up on this "theory", no doubt.

  7. I am blessed by God that I am in excellent health and still look "youthful" at 65. Unfortunately, my Medicare and Med Advantage cards remind me that I am really a senior citizen.

  8. Oh, you have the Advantage? My insurance guru is steering me in that direction, I think. As my 65th draws closer, I'm sure he'll be stuffing my e-mail box with more info.

  9. Yes I have a Medicare Advantage plan. I have Humana. It includes prescription drug coverage, vision coverage, a nd Silver Sneakers which allows me to go to any gym that accepts it and I believe the gym doesn't charge to use the facility or it may be a discounted price, but I am not sure. My gym membership was to expire this August, but it will be extended for the same amount of time that if has been closed. I still will be using Silver Sneakers to check out other facilities for a change of pace.

  10. I never heard of Silver Sneakers before, but there are many "oldies" at the gym where I go, and I bet they have that. Your gym "extention" deal is similar to that of my driver's license. That expired in May, on my birthday, but our Guvvy extended the time for those in my position. My current "license" is the written document sent me by our Registry of Motor Vehicles.

  12. NY has extended the renewal time. Obviously, mine expired yesterday. I could have done it by mail, but I wanted a new picture because I look better than I did 8 yrs ago. You don't get Silver Sneakers with standard Medicare. You have to get an Advantage plan that offers it because not every plan has it. I don't pay any premium for my particular plan, but I still have to pay the Medicare Part B premium.

  14. Oh OK. I have Medicare For Dummies, and a Medicare guide my Mom used about 5 years ago.

  16. Tim , I hear you. At times I have to instill some willpower to refrain from making a purchase or having a service done. In regards to a strop, the Illinois 127 is a nice one that can be obtained via Amazon for about $37. It was Err recommended to me by @gsixxgun.
