June 20, 2020 Tatara Masamune Feather Tatara Semogue Boar Mike’s Orange Cedarwood & Black Pepper Fine Italian Citrus I took full advantage of the Saturday morning and slept in late. Unfortunately that meant walking Mocha was much hotter than the work week. I am really a fan of the PAA Starjelly mentholated preshave. The chill is fantastic and seems to get even colder for each pass. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. I managed to miss touching up a small spot on my jawline. Either way a fantastic shave. Mentholated witch hazel followed by Fine Italian Citrus left me with a wonderfully cool face. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Tacos! We're having the house painted, it was overdue. We'll be hanging around to answer questions and provide direction. Changing the entire color scheme. Waiting on the Shoat knot. It's been in Denver for a couple of days but hasn't made it to the local post office. Then there's the Tradere. I think this is week seven of the four to six week wait? It'll all be good. Beautiful photo and great gear, Keith! I don't imagine any of the items I've seen from you this week have fallen out of favor because of performance. I wonder why folks have moved on? This focus has really got curious to know what the current flavor-of-the-year items are. Your focus could make for an interesting thread
Thank you, Jeff! I do enjoy the presence of menthol in my shaves, but I also like to dial the intensity down. I fear a scenario wherein I become desensitized to it. For a while it seemed like I needed to drown myself in it just to feel it anymore. I took break from it for a while--seemed to do the trick.
June Focus Jabonman~~Simpson~~Gillette/Feather~~Murray & Lanman Feeling rather focussed today...and hot. 90˚ I needed a cooling combination and the Jabonman/Florida Water was just what the doctor ordered. The Chubby Synthetic Badger made short work of the lather. Super-shiny; super-slick and super-...SUPER! For Jeff @jgreenepa I chose one of my last remaining Feather blades. Together with the Gillette #44, the pair shaved me quite nicely. Über-Iced Florida Water chilled my face down nicely.
