Thanks, Tim! Yeah, with all the different colors, just turning the brush makes it look completely different.
Taco's are my favorite food group. We were able to hang out on the covered patio and have a nice dinner together. Since I am going to visit my Mom tomorrow, tonight was my Father's Day dinner out.
Great looking shave Andrew. That's cool that local stores are caring an assortment of real shaving creams. I hope you've had a wonderful Saturday.
June 20--Just the Basics June Shavette Shave #99 Gear Razor: Utopia Care shavette Blade: Astra SS (3) Brush: Stirling Finest Badger Soap: Stirling Iced Pineapple Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue (1 Frost Drop added) Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented The Shave Hot, hot, hot out in the yard today! Inspired by Joe’s @Trigger wonderfully chilly shave, I decided to pull out the Iced Pineapple, Frost Drops, and Aqua Velva Ice Blue to cool myself down. I was also a bit more tired than I care to admit, so I kept it to 2 passes today (WTG and XTG/ATG). No blood, irritation or nonsense for a DFS. A bit rougher around the neck and (oddly) a lot smoother along the chin--will wonders never cease? All in all a great way to bring Saturday to an end--enjoy what’s left of it! 99 down, 1 to go!
Woo-hoo! Only one to go! Have you decided yet if you're do #100 on Father's Day? Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Very nice menthol shave and thanks for the honorable mention Tim! You are staring at the finish line!
Thank you, Clint! Today was a nice day overall. I wouldn’t go as far to say stores here are carrying a good “assortment” yet. This one was from Walmart and was mixed in with the foams, gels and Cremo stuff.
June 20th Proraso Shave Foam & After Shave - Red Rockwell 6s (6) Bolzano SuperInox (2) Another camping shave, this one after an 11 hour day of racing. 48 hours growth, very busy with work and traveling for back to back 3 day race weekends. 2 applications of the awesome Proraso SF...and the hefty 6s and Bolzano blade just got r done. Nothing to report, no irritation. DFS+ smooth. Finished with a nice dousing of the matching AS. So, why is there an Ozarka bottle? That.....was my water source. 24 ounces used (1.5 bottles). Primitive campsite shave, used only a vehicle window reflection for the first pass, figured I’d give the second pass a whirl by feel only. Fun. Next up.....an adult beverage & shaving with Croc’s knife.
Thank you, Jim! I have finally decided to not know what I'm going to do tomorrow. All kidding aside, I'm still very much up in the air about whether I'll go with the DE and chase the baby or whether I'll finish my run for 100. I may just have to flip a coin
