New Short Comb-Prismatic (Rocnel Bohin handle)/Kai (2). I'm just giddy how well this performs.

Because the Prismatic cap supports the blade close to its edge only at the ends I used one shim to increase rigidity. Probably not necessary in most situations but as aggressive shavers go this configuration can hardly be beat. Fortunately I have multiple Short comb plates so this can remain at the ready.

Homelike 95OC-Prismatic/Kai (2). I prefer the more aggressive Homelike plate in its stock configuration but the milder 95 paired with the Prismatic cap I like even better. Still working on the Wool Fat.

Valencia OC Slant

I am very fortunate to be able to try this FANTASTIC Razor, courtesy of @PLANofMAN

I don’t know the last time I have gone 8 days without shaving. Anyhow this Valencia delivered. No trimming with clippers prior to shave. The Valencia paired with a GSB plowed through my growth. There was no tugging or pulling. I made sure to rinse the razor every other stroke.

I rode the cap all 3 passes. Very smooth feeling razor yet very efficient. What struck me most was actually how quiet this razor is. Must be the torque on the blade making it really stiff.

Anyhow it looks like I may have to keep an eye out for one of these bad boys.
