Back to this Tech for the basics focus. I'll be using this cream for Menthol Monday until it is gone, which probably won't be for at bit. Everything worked as it should earlier this morning and I had a fine 3 pass'er. Not completely smooth, but more than acceptable results. I should reach for this splash more often, it really does have exceptional face feel and for quite some time.
It is my daughter's 12th birthday today. Her Grandparents will be coming over here tonight for the first time since the pandemic was declared and she is quite excited about that for sure.
    Have a great day all!
  6. I strop my razors the night before I shave in the morning.
  7. Thanks Jeff!
  8. Thanks Tim! Glad you picked on the word play, but notice all my gear started with C to make it a real C-Monday!
  9. Besides the C-19, it's another good reason to wear masks. Lol!
  10. Thanks Clint!
  11. Beautiful shave and pic Gary!
  12. Thank you Gary
  13. Nice shave Jason! That's great that your daughter is excited to see her grandparents! Happy 12th to your daughter. The year was 1967 for me and I have fond memories of it.

  16. The wunderbar will go eventually. As the ATT slant is milder and more enjoyable to me, but still gets to BBS (eventually). The RR-W is even on ebay with little interest, due to its extravagant price I'm sure.
I'm not overly attached to either of the OC's. One's too mild and the other the opposite so eventually I'll find one in the sweet spot. You are welcome to try either head if you'd care to. I'm not sure if the OC and DOC should be considered in the same category or not.
I actually have been considering an AC style SE to show and use and a straight razor just for show, and then I'll settle down for awhile.
I am on the wait list for a more modern SE Razorock Hawk V3. If I start getting vintage razors my compulsive nature would take over and then game over but thanks for the offers. I think even vintage razors should be taken for a ride sometimes and there are many who could appreciate them better than me.

  19. just received the new old spice decanter today. My favorite one they made in my opinion. ended up doing a vintage OS shave yesterday for father's day. gonna wait a few more days to have some growth on my face before I use this one.
