Wonderful Hump Day Shave Tim. I would think one pass would be sufficient for government work since they are the masters of the lowest bidder program.
Thanks, Jason! The razor really is easy to handle and shaves great. When I first saw it in pictures, it made me think of an old bicycle handle.
Gemini Shave Month (Twin shaves-same set up two days in a row). Rating: 4.5 / 5 Razor: Fatip Grande Open Comb Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock (Green) Brush: Brent Jacobson Tamarind and Ebony w/ Paragon 24mm boar Lather: Pre de Provence No. 63 Aftershave: Pre de Provence No. 63 Aftershave Balm Additional Care: Barbero Alum Block Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm I am happy to report that today’s shave was a definite improvement from yesterday’s. The blade glided over the face smoothly and the alum provide no negative feedback. I repeated the two balm treatment as a finisher. Still feeling smooth 6 hours later.
Great report Jeff!! I normally straight shave when I have lots of time and no one in the house . Sometimes I even play relaxing music while I shave to calm me down which keeps my errors to a minimum. On another note thats usually when the neighbor decides to mow his lawn or use the snowblower in winter . Yeesh.
Excellent shave and report Andrew. LEA should put you on the marketing payroll. Simply Gorgeous Jason. I have the SV Desert Vetiver on my list. I am just waiting on Maggard to get it in stock
Thanks, Patrick! I’m going to keep at it! I just hope I can begin to enjoy it! The whole maintenance process associated with it just seems unpleasant at this point. Hopefully, that’ll change with time.
Thank you Tim. It has been a day for sure. Long but productive. Thank you Jason. I know the feeling. I am taking a break and then have another hour or so of work that can be done remotely.
Thanks, Andrew! I need all the encouragement I can get! Ikm definitely not enjoying myself yet. I find that I look forward to the safety razor part of the shave.
Really glad to hear that your shave went well, Joe! Did you enjoy straight shaving right from the beginning? Just curious?
