  1. Well it is not shave related, but I have to share. Long Island is now in Phase 3 in the reopening which means that you can sit in a restaurant to eat since March 16.,Tonight, I celebrated this phase by having 2 Sicilian slices at a pizza restaurant. I haven't had real pizza since the lockdown. It felt great to do so and enjoy it while sitting down in a restaurant.
  2. Thanks, Gary!

  4. I'm the same way; I get fabulous shaves with my razors. I know I’ll never buy a straight razor, but I did have this one sitting in my drawer, and after the weights on my forearms seemed to work, I figured why not! I don't enjoy the process, but am determined to learn how to do it, before I set this Dovo down and PIF it to someone who will appreciate it more than I do.

  7. How about gyms? I'm wondering what phase Massachusetts has in mind to return to exercising.

  9. Thanks Clint. It has been a brutal 3 months. We are not out of the woods, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's nice that I will be able to sit down at a diner to get a decent meal. I do cook for myself, but sometimes I just don't want to bother so this phase 3 status is a welcome relief.
  10. I had my haircut, you had your pizza at a restaurant. Slowly but surely, eh?
  11. In NYS, it will be phase 4. However, Cuomo still might not want the gyms open during phase 4 because he wants to see the data. I have lost plenty of muscle since the lockdown and needless to say, I am pissed off. The healthiest people go to the gym so we should be able to use it. Check out your state's phases on Google.
  12. Wow! You really do make the Cartel proud. The super menthol aftershave sounds amazing, and I'm looking forward to the Yakuza shave--love seeing those Feather clones! I took up the shavette a few months ago and just finished my 100th shavette shave last Sunday.

I've only been part of the 30DC-since January-folks here just call me Tim :D
  13. I'm still in the learning stages of stropping . Slowly but surely.

  20. Super nice Joe! Great assortment of shaving gear.

Music during shaving is so relaxing. Sometimes it’s traditional classical, movie classical (John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, Alexandre Desplat, etc). New Age, like Yanni or Kitaro. Most times it’s Rush, Pink Floyd or Van Halen. Every now and then it’s Santana, Herb Albert, Chuck Mangione, or Starlord’s mix tape I or II. Occasionally it’s Five Finger Death Punch, Black Veil Brides or Disturbed. Yeah, that rounds out the last couple weeks....:git:
