  2. Cool razors Scott - nice pickups.

    I thought that Stoll mark always looked like a powered grinding wheel... belt driven pulley on the left with the grinding wheel on the right. But can’t say I ever verified that anywhere.

    Are those scales on that Magnet Steel natural... look like they could be special.

    Congrats. :eatdrink047:

  3. Thanks. But, the Magnetic Steel is just plain old Plastic. But, they are in excellent shape.

  4. Now that you said so, it does look like an old powered grinding wheel, with a belt. THanks, that makes sense now.

    Almost no hone wear, and in pretty good shape. Not many Craftsman razors shown around here, and I've not heard of Richardz before. Any history on this??

  12. Lakeside Cutlery Company "Army and Navy"
    Chicago Ill.
    6/8++ inch
    Full Hollow

    I was bored with a lot of overtime I was having to work, and bid on a few razors a week or two ago. So, another came in. I cleaned it up, a lot. This turned out to look pretty nice(at least I thought so). I offered $9, and they took it. I found out that this was a Montgomery Wards ordered Razor, from 1922-1928, from Lakeside Cutlery Co., Chicago Ill. It looks as if the razor had little to no use. The bevel looks factory.

  14. 13/16 Omega 45 (Japanese), a very handsome razor and a Perfectworks razor. I have a Shell branded Perfectworks that’s a favorite, so I picked this one up. It took a great edge.

  15. I am trying to stop but it’s hard. SRAD was calling my name. How can I pass up on a matched pair of pre zip code, boxed Ducks. A beautiful pair razors with a 6/8 round point and cracked ice scales. Good amount of gold remaining on the tang and lightly covered in oil. In very low mileage condition

  19. My son had a custom knife maker friend from Arizona build two razors for me for Father’s Day. After receiving them, let’s just say I’m not too confident that they’re shave ready! Sending them both off to Gem Star Custom to check to see that the bevels are set right and for a honing, if necessary.
