    Good morning!

I haven't totally abandoned my quest to finish off the Astra Planeta. It'll be my Tobacco Tuesday soap for the foreseeable future.
Excellent shave this morning. Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

    Have a great day!

I started lathering the remaining bits of Mike's OC&BP and decided to add a little Godrej Lime shave cream to the bowl. I ended up with a wonderful rich slick lather while finishing off the Mike's soap . Three passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave but I did get one weeper below my lip. The weeper was due to my over zealous buffing. A splash of Fine Italian Citrus and I think I am ready for the day.

This month just seemed to fly by very quickly. Overall it was a good month for me. I added a couple of new boar brushes to the rotation and managed to finish off a soap. I really enjoyed following the thread this month. Congrats to Tim for completing 100 shavette shaves this month. As usual the friendship and camaraderie on the 30DC thread is a rare treat in today's online communities. Thanks again for allowing me to participate. I look forward to participating next month.

  9. Thank you, Jeff. For a former "drugstore" aftershave, AQ is A-OK.

  10. Congrats on knocking out the Jabonman soap. I have a shave stick of Mike's Lavender with about 50 grams of soap remaining that I will start using every other day until its gone.

  13. Nice post, Perry. The stars are once-again aligned.
  14. I am jumping in, if I may. Jeff, I highly recommend you look into the Feather AC. I love mine and it is everything great about straight razors---without the stropping/honing.
  15. Nice shave, Jason. I find myself "pairing" soaps/as, but there are very few soaps (in my den), that the scent lingers beyond the shave.
  16. Nice shave, Joe. May I suggest leaving the soap uncovered after the shave for a complete drying-out?
  17. Terrific shave and recap, Clint! Love the dappled light in your picture!

  18. Thanks, Maestro! My son has offered me his Feather SS models as he is upgrading to the Feather DX. Keith (@Keithmax) has said the SS models are more prone to nicking the user due to their edge design and recommends the DX model which my son has moved to. I currently shave with three AC safety razors, and thus have a healthy stock of AC Proline, Kai, & Feather blades. So a Feather shavette would make sense. Your thoughts?
  19. I admire your razor collection, Keith.
