Breakfast dinner tonight. Turkey ham, scrambled eggs and a couple slices of French toast.

Turkey, corn tortilla, and green chile soup, with my first stab at making pita bread, and my signature Gentilly Blackout homebrewed ale. Stock was made from the carcass from deboning and rolling a whole turkey yesterday, cooked down overnight.

Maybe off topic since this is Brunch and not dinner. Mrs. Monster is home sick so I decided to make comfort food that still complies with the diet she is on right now. Fried green tomatoes on homemade bread fried in olive oil, topped with smothered crawfish. Hey it beats a protein shake.

Six chicken wings from the Cuban place on the corner, then some plain full fat yogurt with a bit of granola.

I adore it on some crusty bread with a nice sharp aged cheese.

Braunschweiger is heavenly, chilled and sliced thick, on a baguette sliced in half and grilled. Add a pickle plank, some horseradish or remoulade, raw vidalia onion and sliced yellow American cheese and it is ecstacy in flavor and aroma.

Yankee lobsters boiled Cajun style, in water seasoned to a caustic inferno. Sides all from the deli counter at Rousse's: peppery cole slaw, crab salad, spicy guac, and of course Ritz crackers, washed down with homebrewed ale. I accounted for three of them, two of them females stuffed full of eggs. Melted butter? That's for Yankees. We got Tabasco and remoulade.

Last night we went out for a Chinese meal, with some good friends. Tonight, we are making wings in the air-fryer. They come out crisp & tasty.

Well, I’m late but last night I made a chicken curry. My first time and man oh man was it good. I’ve been changing my eating habits, and although it’s not easy at first, It’s slowly getting there.

Last night I grilled chicken thighs with Alabama white sauce. if you’re not from the south, you’ve probably never heard of Alabama whole sauce, definitely a different take on BBQ sauce.
