French made razor and the most sought after of all the LeCoq razors because of the caged head design. First I have to add that this razor's reputation as an aggressive razor is well deserved. This razor might have been the most aggressive safety razor I've ever used. The only thing I can compare the blade feel on this razor to is a shavette. Having used SE razors for almost year straight and almost no DE shaving made using this razor very manageable getting through the shave unscathed something that I probably wouldn't have accomplished in the past. With that said the finish came up short of a BBS but that might have been more so due to me being super careful and not pushing the blade to cut closer like I normally would with something a lot less aggressive than this razor.

Indeed the amount of exposure verges on comical but I like mine more than the Ikon Tech. The non cage head three piece Le Coq is much lesser known but is on balance the much better razor, grab one if you see one.
