It's still confusing to me. And the more I look at the Mr. Razor site, the more confused I get.

 

which part confuses you,can i help?

 

I guess it's still a learning experience. For instance the Rocket type Aristocrat Jr. razors look more like American super speeds, while the razors in the Brit #58 sets (also Aristocrat Jr) look like other Brit Aristocrats.

 

it can be confusing,most of these are transitions over the years within the different models..try reading these as well as looking at mr-razor's site.

These links have already paid off. According to information in the first one, my standard Brit. flare tip Rocket is really a Rhodium plated TV Rocket.

 

Several years ago I used the ball end Old Type as a daily driver, then proceeded to get lost down other rabbit holes. This thread motivated me to revisit this old classic for the past two shaves. With a new 7O'clock Super Platinum, I was reminded what a great balance this razor strikes between smoothness and efficiency. It is one of the most nimble and maneuverable razors I own. While the blade doesn't always align itself evenly on its own, it is a quick procedure to adjust it to evenness, where a great shave awaits.

 

hello Jim,almost.the one you pictured has rings around the knurling.the brit tv doesn't.but you will figure it out.
