  1. Honing was, and still is, the final frontier for me and straight shaving. I feel fairly proficient with a blade on a 8K and finer, but not yet with 4K and below.
  2. Thank you, Clint!
I rode the safety bar again this morning. I am surprised how well that works. I'll give it a try with the Rocnel tomorrow.

Early morning start today. No workout as I have a long day ahead. My wife is scheduled for eye surgery to take care of an issue that has developed at the back of her eye. A scary prospect, as even with the procedure, she could still have a greater risk of complications such as developing cataracts within five years.

Regarding the shave, I will be brief, excellent on all points. Love the lather the brush produces with this soap. Love the scent of both the splash and soap. Excellent all around.

Have a great day gentlemen. Stay cool.

This weekend seemed way too short. At least I was able to get in a very relaxing shave again today. I left the Rex on 6.5 and rode the safety bar again for three passes and touch ups cathching the baby. The shave was super smooth and drama free. Riding the bar tamed the Rex. I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday.
