  1. ...and that's why you are the colour matching king, Jim!
Happy Menthol Monday with that set up as well.

  2. Love those Dogwood handles, Joe. Best of luck to your wife today on her surgery. Anything involving eyes is so very scary.

  3. Very nice pic, Clint. Sounds like you've got that Rex dialed in. It seems so counterintuitive to ride the bar, but that must really work with the blade angle to do it and not scrape.

  4. A fine Menthol Monday shave, Perry. Love the look of those original Hawks, and definitely love the L'orange Noir.

  5. That is one stunning replate of an awesome razor, Mark.
  6. Awesome Senator, Gary! I'm often ambivalent with RR soaps in general, but their Super Tallow formula is a high quality lather, no question.

  7. Very nice, Pierpaolo. Love that brush and like how it matches the bowl. I've never heard of that soap, but I know there are lots of excellent Euro products that we never see over here.

  8. Thank you, Andrew. I was admittedly a splurge, but it does satisfy.

  13. Thank you Jason. It is counterintuitive but riding the bar flat works.

  17. Thanks Joe....I've always liked the soap, but I think my "replacement" of it(when I buy it) will be better, as it isn't as "soft".

  18. Thank you, Jason.

This sample is too little and too soft to use in stick mode, as I alway do with hard samples.
My wife kindly gave me the first little bowl was near her.
Very fortunately It matches the brush I have choosen.

This is a young greek artisan, Giorgos Mentis (https://www.instagram.com/mentisgiorgos/), who makes a line of men products.
Good choice is to use his regional components, and It works very well.
Kerkini is a lake in Greece, near where he lives.
And he use nice local ingredients (water buffalo yougurt and milk, olive oil, propolis, honey, beeswax, corinthian black currant, clays).
You can find info on Google, but mostly is in greek. (KEPKINH is translittaration of Kerkini)

He started in 2018, but this V3 came up in the last 2019.
It's a huge improvement, and a very nice product.
Mechanics, postshave and fragrance: everything at the top.

  19. Thank you, Clint. Yes, we had a nice time. Some sun, some clouds, but warm enough. The area has been incredibly wet there this spring. The lake is a few feet higher than usual and the water is cold for this time of year. For reference, the pic below is where the beach usually is. No forest fires, though!
IMG_4999.JPG A grainy photo- iPhones don't zoom in all that well, it seems. Looks like a Sasquatch or Loch Ness Monster photo quality...
  20. Thanks, Gary.
