I really like my Rex Ambassador. Is it worth the money. I bought mine on with their Black Friday sale last year. To me it is worth the money. The fit and finish are first rate. I have used the razor on all the settings and the shaves are very good to fantastic once I dialed the razor in. However, I get shaves as equally good from most of my razors. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I hope it shaves as well as the razor that copied off of it (Dave Ocean 33 Atlaas). The constructions and finish of the Joris razor clobbers the cheap knockoff that I already own, which is slowly falling apart. ***EDIT - 2 pass + minor touch up. This razor is extremely efficient. I read about that ahead of time and stuck a BiC Chrome-Platinum blade in it to smooth it out, boy this was one heck of a great shave. My mug is smoo-ooo-oooth. I could tell it was super efficient the moment I went over a spot a second and third stroke and with stroke 2 virtual silence by stroke 3 there was no feedback at all. Suuuper efficient. I had to go easy. Gotta say that this razor was expensive but it delivered the shave I would expect. As it usually is, the scent pairing in this shaving set are amazing. Creed's Royal Water is refreshing and all the products from the bath soap to the deodorant just impart a heavenly clean vibe. Gotta say that I don't regret a single day that I sunk a chunk of money into these shaving sets. They are enjoyable every day. And wet shaving as a hobby I have to say is the most fulfilling because in past hobbies I get bored or stop playing with the toys involved and they get pushed to the side for the next interest. Not so in wet shaving....as I have to bathe everyday and shaving is a part of life. So, these are a daily part of my life. With enough variety I never get bored of what I'm using each day.
Treet, gem stainless steel ptfe blade, shave 2 First and probably last time I'll be using this one. This is by far the most mild SE razor I've ever used. End result a porcupine finish.
