Thanks, Joseph! For the most part I would too, but I struggled riding the cap with my Variant. I went a little steeper, and it felt worse, so I dialed it back toward the cap. I'm wondering if the safety bar would have done the trick, now. Moot point--my sister's got the razor, and I'm happy with the shavers I have, but I'm still curious
