You finally let them rest: the razor seemed pretty weary lately...

Today is the birthday of a friend I haven't seen in a long, long time, but I like remembering pleasant moments: Marco Bollesan, the father of Italian rugby, a sportsman endowed with realism and great irony!
In fact it's his birthday again: I didn't think Marco was so repetitive!

Of course, I'm not the right person to criticize repetitiveness: my pertinence in posting on this forum testifies it.

Today I finished the Sharp Dressed Man sample. There was very little left, but it was more than enough to shave me: Stirlings are soaps of excellent mechanics.
The scents of the two that I tried, however, do not fully convince me: it does not click the chemistry
Maybe if I smelled some more...

This one, as I said, seems to me the American interpretation of the scent of a classic English soap and the other, Almond Creme, is a bit sweet, too amaretto like.
Pogonotomic satisfaction, however, is always assured!

Today's shaving is without history. Or maybe it's the result of my story!

Now I'm going to enjoy the wind and fresh air, even though it looks like the sun seemswilling to appear in the clouds.

The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Tom's B400 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Brass TAR with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Pal injecto-matic razor-Mfg 1952> They called it the million dollar razor because of what they spent to tool up.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (3) great blade for sharpness & longevity.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore- nice scent and great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi tuxedo knot 24 mm Sagrada Familia named after famous cathedral in Barcelona Spain- great lathering brush.
Pre- shave: Brush wash whole face with Cerave hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + minor irritation + 3 tiny nicks= just got careless this morning with technique with this razor and it let me know.
