  1. Thank you.

    @JACarbone
    Normally I take some time to evaluate.
    My dermatitis needs a little to understand which is what.
    As mechanics, KEPKINH gives a better lather but It needs more work.
    LPL is good and easy, and the fragrance is more complex and refined.
    Tomorrow again this lineup for final toughts ... and then the greek againt the REAL french king of vetiver.
    Stay tuned ...
    :p

  11. You are right that I didn't mention the irritation factor for the reason to ride the cap, but I did mention in an earlier post that you need a light touch when you ride the safety bar because of the steeper angle. I have seen a U-tube straight shaver use a greater angle than the acceptable 30 degrees because the pressure very light. Riding the cap or safety bar, and straight shaving at greater than 30 degrees is a ymmv thing.
  12. Just gorgeous Andrew.

  13. Joe, very nice shave especially with an Old Spice finish. Interesting lather concept you are using. Have you considered Place the brush in an iced water filled brush scuttle to keep the lather on the soap cool. You could do it with hot water as well. A question regarding the RR Classic, is the scent similar to Cella?
  14. Thank you Andrew. I took Zantac twice a day for years. My gut has more issues than I care to think about.

  19. As I commented on Clint's post, I didn't add the irritation factor. I did mention in an earlier post this month, that you can ride the safety bar, but you need less pressure due to the steeper angle of incidence. This is true no matter what razor you use. Throughout my time on this thread, it seemed like it was the gospel that riding the cap was the all be all and that is why I held my tongue about riding the bar. So when I saw a few experienced riding the safety bar was fine, it was then that I decided to affirm their newfound technique. Shaving is all about experimenting with different, razors, soaps and techniques to get the best shave possible. It's all good. I am open to learning new things in wetshaving to give me great shaves. This is why shaving isn't a chore for me, but a pleasurable thing for me.
  20. Jason is correct. I am one of a few that does not have one of his brushes.
