  1. Thank you Andrew! I sometimes use my hands to wet my face and make the brush really wet to make a sudsy lather to start and then I add more soap to get an acceptable lather. It prevents me from letting my shaves become routine, but I do prefer the lathering method that I used today.

  2. Sounds good! I’d like to be one of those guys who says, “I knew Myles when he was putting his first few scents together!”
  3. I wish! My kids are all calling to see about whether I’m available for grandchild care! I’ve managed to dodge them thus far, but I’m only two days in!
  4. Fantastic shave all around. The MMOC is stunning and the brush gorgeous. I have not seen any Crazy Badger drops lately. I wonder if he is taking a break.
  5. I subscribe to Paul H Films so I am well aware of his tagline. I like that his wife changes the flowers in the vase as well.
  6. Did you seriously think you were going to be left alone the entire week?

  10. Yup! I’m actually teaching an online course starting today. I plan on using that as a shield to maintain this delightful freedom! I love it, Joe! Wearing my favorite cologne that I wore for 4 decades. I feel great!
  11. Thanks, Joe! I think he stopped making brushes last year (at least for now).
  12. Thanks Jeff! I have used the Headblade Slick and it is a great product, but I haven't used it in many years. I haven't tried Feather HiShave gel so I will take your word for it. I like Cremo for my headshaves. It's easy to use and it's very slick. I don't have to add any more of it during subsequent shaves because the residual slickness is awesome.
  13. He's fun to watch and Mrs. H. sure does a great job with the flowers.
  14. Thank you, Patrick.

  15. Thanks Tim! I get great shaves with shavettes, but I really have to get in touch with my OCB to get BBS shaves. I can get a SAS after one pass with a straight or shavette, but I like a smooth face so I continue with passes to get there.
  16. Thank you, Patrick!

  17. I have a mug, but I don't have a scuttle. I use cold water and that's good enough for me. I don't want to add another step in my routine to use ice cubes. Lol! I am content with Proraso and Cryogen to give me a cool, refreshed feeling. I have never tried Cella, but I have heard it has the same marzipan scent as RR, but Cella is somewhat stronger.
  18. I have Cella in the small tub therefore there is no need to get the RR Classic. I have heard that many like the scent and feel of the 1000 gram block better. Perhaps when I sink the tub I will pick up the block, cut it up to 150 gram, save a few, share a few.
