IMG_5003.jpg Felt like an Emperor with the MonoBilt this morning. Last soap up in the Italian soap rotation is this Green. Also, last Italian boar up is this small boar which is usually my travel brush. No need to travel for the past few months, so I put it in rotation for this month's theme. It is only about 21mm, so I decided to bowl lather with it. That has become increasingly rare for me to do.
Anyway, whipped up a very nice lather with about enough for 9 passes (not even sure that is hyperbole, to be honest) and had 3 great passes. Maybe a tiny bit of sandpaper on one spot on my lower right neck, but I had to search to find it. Does the splash match? Nope. I like it. SWMBO? She's never commented on the splash before, but I didn't get the SOA this morning. Maybe the combo was a little much. She asked if it was new...I said I've had it for 3 years...she said 'I'm not a fan'. Without the Green next time, methinks.
    Have a great day all!
  6. Terrific shave, Gary!
  7. Thanks Joe! I can only speak for the Schick E3 that it can be difficult to shave the back of the head because it is not automatic to find the sweet spot when you can't see the razor. I don't know if that is true with the PAA, but I am guessing you cut the back of your head because of it.

  8. Very nice shave, Andrew! Schick injectors are excellent razors.
  9. Very fine shave, Jason!
  10. Great looking shave, Jason! The Cooper looks to be in excellent shape. As for the SOA, at least 'not a fan' still gives you hope for next time. :D

  19. Agree 100% on the Castle Forbes Lime, Keith. What an awesome slick lather in a fantastic straight up Lime scent. The scales may be understated on that razor, but they are well designed, clean lines.
  20. Great shave and report, Jeff! That Damascus steel razor really is cool--also love the Osage Rub; I'll definitely will be grabbing some in the near future. :D
