Great photo and shave Bruce. How's the remodel project coming along?

I don't know what a three ring razor is worth. If you find that your 3 ring razor is worth 50 to 60 dollars, then I would say swap. If more, then have the guy make up the difference. There are very few mint Genco razors available, but I wouldn't pay more than 50 dollars. I bought my stainless steel 7/8 Friodur NOS for 90 dollars last year and it is a far superior razor than a Genco. So the 80 dollar max for one is way out of line. I have seen them go for 20 to 30 dollars in used condition. It is a very good razor, but I would classify it as a C+ based on popularity. That's my personal opinion. Bottom line, really find out what the approx. value of your razor and then negotiate accordingly.

Lol! Bruce, in an earlier post, I warned Jeff that a straight razor is a great seducer.

Rockwell 6C, and Cremo for a quick shave is a great combination, Bruce! Unfortunately, Cremo is underated in the wet-shaving community. It's like a plain Jane that really knows all the latest dance moves and performs them with great aplomb!

    Thanks, Jim!

Thank you, Clint! Actually, not too bad. The tile around the tub/shower is almost done. I gutted the rest of the bathroom Tuesday. Today I got the cement board down over a layer of thinset. It has to sit about a day before tiling. We switched gears this evening and decided to use a different tile for the floor, so I ran to Lowe’s before they closed and picked it up. I’d like to have the floor tiling done and grouted before the end of the weekend, so that I can get the new toilet and vanity in place. It’s getting there....much faster than the first bathroom project.
I see you got the Desert Vetiver headed your way. Congrats!

I think I remember that. He was adamant that he wasn’t going to stick with it. :happy097:
A guy at work turned me on to it. He was bragging it up, and I was skeptical, to say the least. C’mon...an excellent product from the shelf at WallyWorld? He gave me the last little bit of what he had, and it blew me away how slick it is. Needless to say, I got some for myself. If I ever decided to get out of the hobby side of shaving, Cremo would be the product of choice, most likely paired with an injector.

Jeff, I have a Genco “Old Faithful” I purchased on EBay and had @gsixxgun hone it. It is a wonderful shaver, super sharp edge. I love using it. Regarding the pictures There is not attachment to this post.
