Thanks Joe....I plan to buy another from Phoenix A.A....different soap though(Home On The Range). I do like the Boomtown . Will be good to have the two together.
Excellent shave Joe. How do you like the Stirling Sandalwood? I am looking for a straight Sandalwood soap when my software buy freeze ends. I have Stirling’s Vanilla Sandalwood which is very nice.
July 10th Barbasol Floating Head w Astra SP (1) Omega '83/Poculi Beehive SV Felce Aromatica combo Thayers Early morning shave, late afternoon post. A great shave with favourite software and hardware. The FH certainly makes me feel like an Emperor. As @Keithmax would say, Epic. Have a great weekend, all!
You are welcome, Gary! I am far from perfect, but my walk with Jesus is to be an encourager and and edifyer to everyone I meet and know. Life is tough and sometimes we need others to lift us up in our troubled moments. You are gifted with your hands and no one can take that from you. People that are mechanically gifted are not out of work for long periods of time and I know that will be true in your case.
Thanks Joe. I like the Sandalwood, but I prefer the citrus scents. Sandalwood is not overbearing, but it does linger longer than some of the other Stirling soaps. I haven't tried the Vanilla Sandalwood, but I would think it has a sweeter scent than the reg. Sandalwood. It really comes down to your personal preference. Try it and see if you like it.

A new blade, another Proline, to continue with the theme. The new blade gave a nice shave and a few weepers to boot. Hopefully, I can dial it in tomorrow. Weepers were in the usual locations so no surprise there. They cleaned up easily with the assistance of the alum block or should I say chip. That is about all I have left. Time to pick up a new one. I trust the next few days will go well for you and your wife, Charlie. Have a safe trip back home as well, my friend.
Funny you should mention that, Joe. I owned the Pure lavender. Good soap. A bit gooey and to my nose, there was an animal-like scent. Off-putting. No argument for the performance.
