Gave this a go this morning, using my EJ DE89 with a 2nd use voshkod blade and my Stirling Kong. Scent is very mild and while it did build a lather, it wasn't very full and creamy. However as far as performance goes, it was slick and did the job on a 2 pass shave. I'd describe it as being like ol Dan Dierdorf himself, not flashy or exciting, but somewhat reliable. Not sure if this is available online, was purchased at Barney's drugstore in Wichita, Kansas. Will probably not use real often, maybe for a shave where time is an issue. Probably keep for nostalgic reasons.
Don't have it, but it reminds me of good ol' Rise, and the commercial done by Andy Robustelli(NY Giants DE, 1950's-early 60).
