  1. July Focus
    [IMG]
    AoS Lavender~~Simpson 59~~Pre-War Canadian Tech/Personna 74
Last of the lavenders to complete this mini-focus in July.
At bat, The Art of Shaving Lavender Cream.
It's very difficult to make a comparison between the AoS cream and soap.
The cream has a much stronger lavender scent. Not complicated, but true to the flower.
Lathering creams is always a snap and today was no exception:
Copious amounts of lather were produced with the Simpson 59.
The razor today is a Canadian Tech. Shout out to all of our friends north of the border.
Inserted was the same Personna 74 blade.
The blade is really cruising and showing no signs of failure at this time.
The lavender cream is exquisitely slick and protective, even on the sensitive part of my neck.
So, I am sure you are all very curious as to my ranking of the lavender soaps.

Yes, I, too, was surprised. ;)
  2. Wonderful set of shaves, Keith--the view from the hotel restaurant window is amazing (beautiful building, too)! :D

It must have been a while since you've used that kamisori; I don't recall seeing it before, but then again, I don't always remember how old I am either

  11. It’s a symmetrical western grind.

I’ve had it a long time but due the sharp point and heel I only use when I have lots of time.
  12. Thank you.
    Yes, it is.
This EDT is a true icon.
Actually I use It just when I do not like the fragrance of the soap / aftershave.
I find It very powerful, and quite invasive ... bordering on the overwhelming.
  13. Fine shave this morning. The Razorock Lime Burst was out for another go, and it took 0:30(my standard time)to load it onto the Jayaruh #59. Good work along the face, but for two weepers northeast of the upper lip. Once again, they were harmless, but they were PRESENT. That was during the first pass, second pass was better. Cactus Nation looks nice and clear. The top right part of CN always has the thickest astroturf than any other area. Wonder why that is, but I don't lose sleep over it, I just shave it off. This morning gets a Most Excellent.
  14. Nice, Joseph! I've enjoyed watching your lavender roundup.
  15. thank you
