  16. Wednesday's Shave

    1956 Gillette Red Tip (B4)
    Gillette Silver Blue (2)
    Omega 11126 Boar
    Viking 'Hedeby' Shaving Soap (GIT)
    Stirling 'Sharp Dressed Man' AS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    Stirling 'Sharp Dressed Man' EdT

I haven't used this soap in a while, however it is a good one. Great lather, slickness and post shave feel.
Contrary to my shaves the past few months with WTG passes only on the lower neck trouble area, I decided to use an XTG/ATG pass there today. For me, this equates to a true N-S pass. I've been starting to feel situations when this may work without repercussions, and today's razor/blade/lather combination led me there. As I've mentioned before, sporadic ingrown hairs appear when I choose to go anywhere but WTG in that area, so I will keep my fingers crossed for today's trial. I've enjoyed having irritation free DFS results, but I want to keep improving...

Two focused passes with careful touch-ups and J-hooks led to a BBS on both face and neck today. Very happy. It even passed the cotton ball test with the witch hazel wipedown. I will know by tomorrow if the razor bumps want to rear their ugly heads.

  17. Wonderful picture, Andrew! Here's to hoping for no razor bumps or ingrown hairs.
