Nice, Joe! I've only seen empty soap tubs in pictures. Looking good, Pierpaolo! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
As a family we have taken so many photos that I bought an annual subscription to Smug Mug and upload all the edited photos there. Then I copy a code to embed in the post on all the different forums. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you, Jim! After I finish this soap, then I have my first Cryogen to use up. Hopefully, that won't be too long so I can start my experiment with my new tub of Cryogen.
Great shavette outing today, Joe! That soap is goin' down soon, and that's an accomplishment. Stirling soaps hang around for a long, long time, with their generous 5.8 oz fillings.
Looks like a little Googling is needed for me. I'd like to avoid having to jump around from device to device. Chances are, it's stupid easy...
Razor - Blackland Blackbird Blade - Gillette Wilkinson Sword (India) Brush -The Weapon Soap - WK Sandhurst A/S - WK Sandhurst After the “Rubie Run” another blade was selected from the sampler pack from tryablade. Today it was the Gillette Wilkinson Sword. Kensurfs claims it’s his favorite blade. Gotta disagree with my main man Ken on this one. Plenty sharp, but not all that smooth. Normally I’ll run most blades for seven days. This one’s headed for the bin. Even still, a delightful shave ensued. A couple of weepers - totally user error. I can’t and won’t blame the blade for my own stupidity. The Sandhurst aftershave is an interesting one. When first applied, it smells like cough syrup - regular Robitussin, if memory serves. That only lasts about 30 seconds to a minute. When it dries down, the scent matches the soap. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!
Glad to hear your shave was delightful even with a less than stellar blade, Bruce. It has been awhile since I've used my Blackbird. It'll be next up in the rotation. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
It's easier. This is just a setting during the save process of whatever editing software you are using. My workflow, depending on if I'm in a hurry. All images in 2020 (I'm pretty sure) I've done are with my iPhone XS Max. Maybe a few early in the year done with my DSLR setup. When editing on the iPhone, I use Photoshop Express. Save to camera roll option set to 85%. File always around ~600-900k (under the 1mb TSD limit). Sometimes I'll do the same process on my Apple Mini (2018 model). iPhone for image capture (which has the original file in Photos App), then use the full version of Photoshop for editing. Save as option is much more detailed, but I choose an option to save that gets the file size under 1mb. The camera sensors in phones/tablets/DSLRs are different, that's why you get different file sizes (and some settings even let you control the size saved). And....I'm guessing, but there's probably an option in Tapatalk which is controlling the file size upload. I'm not a Tapatalk user. HTH.
Thanks Blair! No Photoshop here though...just the standard "Photos" app. On my iPad I'll use Snapseed sometimes, and use the "save as copy" option. That works if I'm using Tapatalk. Unless you're a premium user with Tapatalk, medium quality is the highest setting it'll allow. Not a big fan of Tapatalk, so paying for premium is out. I used an option in the Photos app on the Mac today, which allowed me to reduce the size of the file. It came out smaller than I hoped, but it works... I just want to sit down at my Mac and do everything from there. Most everything on Apple devices are so easy that sometimes it's easy to overlook.
