That is a cool blue image and setup Gary! Love it. Nautical Voyage and Klar Seifen Sport. Great pairing. Just got that EdT myself, great fragrance.

I asked several times the Evans bros to make again the original handle.
General V1 has an iconic handle, and IMHO it's the only one they nailed.

    Thank you, James.
Thanks, Joe. Luckily this bottle is vintage. (so's my backup...;) )
Thanks, Andrew. That's exactly how I view myself. :happy097:
    Well-written post, Jeff.

Mille grazie, Pierpaolo, and thank you for posting this picture. There were only 90 of this brush manufactured. I would love to know where they all are now?
There is a thread on B&B on this brush.

Well done finishing the soap, Joe. Is it a candidate for replacement?

Thanks Jim! Now I have about 13 more soaps to send on a Titanic voyage before I might consider purchasing any more soap. We will see how long my resolve lasts. Lol!

I know how much you like Feathers, Jeff. I like them two. What I don't like about them is the first shave harshness, that can sometimes happen. Shaves 2-3 are the best, imo, for the Feather blade.
The buttered toast refers to the plinking sounds made when shearing off the stubble. I find that every razor has its own unique "feedback". My straights also "sing" to me when cutting.

My 10/8 Mad Max is big enough for me, but I would like to try a 12/8 razor. Obviously, I probably have to tweak my technique concerning the moustache area.
