  2. Thank you Bruce! It's my first tub completion since I have been a member here in Dec 2018.

  4. Nice looking razor and great shave, Bruce!
  5. Have you tried them in the AS-D2? I’ve had the same experience with a feather blade in other razors, never in the AS-D2! It’s the blade holder engineered for the blade!

  7. Great shave, pic, and lineup, Blair! Enjoy your Texas BBQ!

  8. I wish it were so! My social gatherings comprise of mature (age) Christian singles. There are regulars that attend and new people show up. I go for the fellowship and not trying to find someone. TBH, I need to be wowed and 99.9 % of the circle of women that attend don't do it for me. But then again, I don't do it for 99.9% of the women. Lol!
  9. Love the pic! Awesome shave! Have a nice day, Gary!

  10. Thank you, Blair! It's one less "fall/winter" scent in my collection.

  14. Thank you, Joseph! I like the Stirling Sandalwood, but I am not over the top with it. It is a good, clean, mild, masculine scent that I would use if I was going to be around people in an enclosed area. Would I buy it again? Yes, I would, but I have other "cold season" soaps like Bay Rum, Glastonbury, Frankincense and Myrrh, Christmas Eve and others that I use out of season so I don't have a desire to replace it right away. Earlier, I mentioned that I want to use my abundant supply of soaps before I purchase any more. Eventually, I want to get Stirling Barbershop, Tabac, Arko, B&M, Catie's Bubbles, Wet the Face, Soap Commander, Fine Platinum and maybe some others. I will always have Stirling in my den, but I want to experience other soaps because it makes me more knowledgeable of the artisan inventory.
  15. Lol! Just being honest! The 12/8 would be nearly impossible to use the scoop method of shaving the moustache area. Also, I would have to be extremely careful about the ears and the jawline. That is why I said that I would have to tweak my technique. Can I shave with a 12/8 straight, if given the opportunity? My answer would be yes. Would I enjoy it? I am not sure.
  16. I always do, thanks.

  18. Fantastic shave report Joe. Geez, you are a wealth of information. It is definitely a learning experience reading your posts my friend. I have not heard of the razor you used for the dome. Sounds like an interesting specimen.
