    Thanks, Clint! I spoke to Shane yesterday, and he said polishing is completed and that he’s just finishing the laser etching of the serial numbers! Aaannnyyyyy daaaay, now!!

    Well, as I've said @wristwatchb gets the credit, as before his advice, I never really had a "plan" for the neck, other than just going south-to-north. Angling it from the corners results in a real improvement. As you know, I first called it the "Y Formation", then suddenly realized the motion was like shaving a cactus.

    A nice relaxing start to the morning. I find the Dead Sea scent to be simply intoxicating. The scent is aquatic and dry with a hint of herbs. It reminds me of a hot dry day at the beach. I pulled out the Hiram and used the Feather Pro blade I have been using all weeks. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. Maybe the blade was getting tired. I have loaded a fresh blade for tomorrow's shave. A splash of mentholated which hazel followed by the Dead Sea aftershave left me chilled and smelling fantastic. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

    Great photo, Clint. When I saw the shape of the handle I immediately thought “Classic Cobra”, until I saw the ‘Oren’ style head. Have a great day.

    Yes, but not all the lines.
    Mostly the Green, sometime the White.
    Red and Blue just in big cities, in specialized stores ... or online.
    Do you know the original, from 1927 in Egypt? Or the newest, from Russia?
    BTW, my fav is the 2009 version.

    good morning gents.1st test drive of the vintage merker,german wilkie blade.this razor is still made as far as i know,only the cap and handle are quite different.this razor is also nickel plate instead of chrome plated as the new ones are.i would say it's from the 1950s? the fine speick lather scent added to the rainy air this morning,as did the aftershave.near bbs in 2 plus pases as i took my time thinking old type,but this old type design is for modern blades.will be a keeper.have a fine day everyone..
