I find that using the angle provided by the Blackbird's design is best, and really, it's about the only way it works. There's some kinda magic built into the geometry of the Blackbird.

Nice one, Joe! I have Ghost Town Barber on my radar...perhaps the new formulation. Not a menthol-head (it's ok...just don't love it), so Cryogen is out. I had a sample of GTB, and love it. You just don't hear quite as much buzz about Chiseled Face these days with all the other artisans cranking out soaps.

I admit I have been looking. My Tatara Masamune is described by some as a Feather AS-DS2 with a shim. Given that I have resisted the temptation thus far.
