I don't drive a truck so there goes THAT baby out the winda. But I see the point. As I say, I did like the Sherlock, too, and would settle for that. No gas in THAT one. It would be easy for me to think of MS as "Axe's Twin". I'll have to look again at the reviews and see what the pro-Midnight comments are, and match them up to the anti. Just to see who sounds sincere and who sounds goofy.

Thank you, Gary. I did wonder about the handle. There are several variations, and this one doesn't seem to show up as much. Guess that's why it's considered the "uncommon bar handle".

And now just as I say that, no reviews. He's put in some more popular ingredients in it(Russian Leather, Birch Tar, Oakmoss.) It's a Silk Tallow brand now. The Hoppes is still in there, but maybe it isn't as strong when you consider the new ingredients. Stay tuned for the Sherlock persuasion

I found a review that I remembered seeing before.
"I think mid night stag is an appropriate name . You see ,if you are a single guy , and you are at a party wearing this stuff , at midnight, you are definitely going home “stag”……………….alone."

I'm not normally a seasonal scent guy. There are exceptions, and generally anything with pine, or holiday scented fall in the exceptions list.

Go to Maggard's website and look at the reviews for the aftershave. Humorous, but accurate. If you get it, don't say you weren't warned. Chicks don't dig guys who smell like gas.

 

My Redtip was made during my birth year of 55. Last year, I tried getting a FB 55 on Fleabay but someone outbid me. C'est la vie!

 

Did you ask? Because it is difficult to find at SmithHaven BB and W store. They only carry a few tubes.
