I consider myself a libertarian on the style of facial hair removal one chooses to use, I pretty much like them all.
It is my guess though that most came to the 30 Day Crew through the conduit of the traditional double edge safety razor after having fled issues with cartridges. The foundational 30DC principle being, excessive gear changeups are counter productive to the development of good shaving skills.
It has become my opinion that shavers who regularly deliver very close and comfortable shaves with a variety of DE razors have hit some very high peaks. Today's shave confirms that in my case. Even though I used low angles, low pressure, and good skin stretching, I chose to end up satisfied with an irritation free DFS rather than push into 'irritation nation' territory.
