July 20 SOTA

Good afternoon guys!
It is sizzling hot on Long Island! I decided to take another shave under 30 hours to cool down with Cryogen.

Schick E3 Injector Razor
Personna Injector Blade (2)
Rockwell Synthethic Brush
Cryogen SS (first puck) and AS

Ok, I really needed to cool down with a shave and keeping with Menthol Monday. Wet my face with the brush to thoroughly hydrate it. Lightly dipped the brush into the gooey mess and proceeded to get an awesome lather. Now, I don't know if it is really hydrating the face or the change of this soap's texture, but it has been very easy to lather it than when I first got this soap. I only needed 2 passes without touchups to get me an IBSS++. It also was a bloodless and irritation-free shave. Splashed the matching aftershave for another menthol kick. It was a refreshing and comfortable shave. Have a nice afternoon guys!

I think you’ll like it, Paul! It’s a nice cooling menthol splash with some decent staying power.

I only have about 30, if that left, Jason, but I still have about 60 Sharp Stars, and a lot of Sunekos which are now unobtainium.

THAT's good..the decent staying power. I do look forward to it, given my dehydration worries. That's what I must think these days, whether consuming it or as an aftershave-COLD and WATERY.

Thanks Andrew! I tend to agree. I was very fortunate to win this Schick E3 at last year's TSD Father's Day Raffle. I also won my JR #290 brush. TBH, I wasn't excited when I chose this item, but the pickings were slim because it was toward the end of the raffle. Also, I never owned an injector so I was concerned about loading the razor with the magazine. Looking back, I am glad that I have it in my den. It gives me a straight shave-like result and it gives an awesome headshave. All I can say is that if anyone is thinking about getting a Schick E injector, then go for it. You won't regret it.

A menthol shave in this heat is welcome. Very cool looking brush Andrew.

Ahh I guess he's "OK" . I wonder what other "manly men" advertise it.

Makes 3 of us(and I'm sure there are more).

It arrived, but it looks nothing like the LC. It's not even open comb. I think Mr. Fine was not being entirely honest.

Great shave, Joe! The E Type is one of my favorite injectors. Great shaver!

Maybe I’ll start wearing a shemagh when I’m out at the store. I have three of them anyway.
