  1. Thank You, Bruce.
Max @ NALS is a good guy, and I love his work.
Italian slate, from near Genoa, is wonderful.
Great presence in the hand, and hold the warmth very well.
With a nice hole in the center, It's well balanced and not so heavy.

I got a little lazy with my technique yesterday. All good today.

Back with the RA again this morning. The SOC Mistura is a wonderful brush for face lathering with tons of backbone and scrub. The Fine Aquamarine opens with a citrus note that fades into a herbal aquatic base. I really enjoy this scent. Plus the soap just flat works. Three passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave. I did open up two of the cuts from yesterday. For the final pass and touch ups I dialed the RA back to 2.5. I might keep it there for tomorrow's shave. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
  6. Wonderful picture, Clint!

  8. IMO, the Semogue Mistura knots are their best. I have owned 2, but they have flown the coop.

    MdC - Fougère
    Rex Ambassador (6)
    Bolzano SuperInox
    Simpson Trafalgar T3

Very nice shave this morning. Everything worked as it should, super nice thick and cushiony bowl lather from the T3 and MdC. 2 passes w/Ambassador set as far as this one goes....slightly past 6. Loaded with a fresh Bolzano, just barely missed the BBS. Close nostrils area required some touch up, used ABCo razor (stored on the counter the past few days....it's been used since last Saturday).

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!
  14. Thank you, Andrew!
Root beer float sounds awesome! I don't think I've had one since I was a kid.
    Terrific picture and shave, Blair!

  16. Exceptional shave setup and photo, Blair!
  17. It's been a long time for me too. Lucky for me, with 11 and 17 year old offspring, the ingredients are almost always in the kitchen.
