  2. Nice.
Thin Tech is one of the most efficient shaver ever made.
Somehow It reminds me the Wolfman WR1.
  3. Excellent, concise review, Jeff! :happy088:
I'm glad the razor's performance overshadowed your initial packaging disappointment.
  4. thank you Joe,i think it's one of the last few examples of a tech set getting more than a cardboard box..good morning..:)
  5. Great report, photo and gear, Gary!
Just looking at the razor, I'd never know all the nuances you mentioned. Thanks.
  6. thank you sir.it is a very efficient and solid razor.if i used it for a few days i am sure i could get bbs in 2+ passes.i always seem to need that with the techs..narrower sweet spot than my french new rfb thin cap, which is my favorite daily shaver..:)
  7. I'm glad your initial disappointment of the razor's geometry turned around to give you a great shave Jeff!
  8. Tuesday's Shave

    Schick E2
    Personna Blade
    Omega 11126 Boar
    La Toja Shaving Soap Stick
    La Toja Aftershave

La Toja Tuesday for today's shave, one of my favorites. I continued my trial XTG/ATG pass on the lower neck for a third day in a row. So far it seems to be working well. Maybe keeping three passes for that zone ordered as WTG, WTG/ATG, and WTG is the golden ticket. 2 passes were enough for a sufficient DFS+ finish, but I pushed forward.

3 full passes for a BBS result with fingers crossed, hoping for no quiescent irritation.

  9. thank you Andrew,i over analyze them i think..:).but if they were all the same i would have 2..it's fun to find differences in them but they aren't really noticeable unless placed side by side with others of the same era.even then,we all know gillette is famous for mixing stuff up..the thin cap makes for a slightly different angle when dialing in and the solid thin handle makes the razor quite nimble, great weight and balance, similar to a ball end tech handle.most.many french techs after this one had aluminum handles..
  10. awesome schick e shave and pic Andrew,my favorite schick razor..
