Thanks, Blair! Much appreciated! I have learned from my son that sharp to a knife-maker is not the same kind of sharp to a razor maker!
Thanks, Gary, sorry for the delay in responding, but my youngest grandson came to visit and for a swim. Good evening!
Honestly Jeff, I haven't measured them myself. From what I've read they are slightly wider than other DE blades which I would think would provide a bit more exposure. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Nah! I spent my career as a data scientist! That was more than enough counting! I figure I’ll be there by th end of October, more or less.
Thanks, Jim! I wasn’t aware. I’ll be interested in your experience. Blade feel is not something usually commented on about the AS-D2. I’ll look forward to hearing about it. I believe I’ve got a couple of tucks of Kai blades laying around. I’ll check it out myself.
Ben’s a senior exec with a well-known software company, so he has the disposable income to play with. He’s been a custom knife collector since he was a teenager and a straight razor shaver for about the last 8 years. He’s pushing 50 now, so he's been at it awhile.
Lovely shaves, Bruce! The Vector is an awesome razor. It was probably a Kai Captain or Kai Mild Pink. Bigelow is great stuff! Since it’s manufactured by Proraso I wouldn’t expect anything but a great lather! Enjoyed your summary!
You have every right to be proud of your children. It is also great to ask Ben for straight shaving advice.
i always thought the same thing. also the new deluxe razors.razors with the handle fused to the baseplate are apparently called 3 piece if the inner barrel/twist knob comes out.
Wonderful shave Clint! No errors is always nice. The cooling effect of Terrorade must be extremely helpful right now.
