  2. No problem!
I wish it was my birthday, or close to it. That would put us in December. I'll take cold and snowy anyday over the heat of summer. ;)

  3. Lovely shave, PierPaolo! I enjoy your musical selections! I always shave to J.S. Bach when I can without disturbing SWMBO,

  4. Thanks Bruce! I rarely hit that spot, but like anything else, stuff happens. I have such a soft touch that I minimize cutting myself badly unless it involves my pinkies. Lol!

  5. The Schick Proline is great in the Vector, but lately I’ve been using the Feather Super and getting some great shaves.

  7. Lovely shave photo and report, Blair. I see you like to wrap your Feather Kamisori handles. Is that a leather lanyard? Just curious! Glad your shave went well despite the minor SD error. Enjoy your day and stay healthy down there in the sick lands!

If there were any differences with the Kai they were pretty subtle.

  15. Great shave Bruce! MWF seems to be the bees knees! I would purchase it, but it doesn't do well with my hard water and I prefer scented soaps. Have a good day my friend!

  16. I've used a Feather Super. Great blade. Not all that long lasting, maybe three or four shaves. That kinda surprises me since SE blades usually last longer than DE blades.

  17. Like I mentioned, it's a great soap. It's not my absolute favorite. It works well, and I've never experienced any difficulty in lathering MWF. Sometimes unscented is just what the doctor ordered. Other times, something scented is preferred. Most likely there will always be a puck of it in the stash, but there's little chance it would ever become my exclusive choice. The biggest "downside" to MWF is it likes to be used regularly, otherwise it tends to dry out and shrink.

    JustOneJuly Shave #23

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Razor Retro Shavette
    Blade: Feather Pro Super
Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts 26 mm Tuxedo
    Lather: Razorock Stallion
Aftershave: Wholly Kaw King of Oud
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Second shave with the Feather blade. Extremely close, yet two weepers. Fortunately, they did not have any longevity. Another hot one here on Long Island, this the pool beckons.
The soap looks to be more on the path of the fate of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Stay cool gentlemen.
  19. Thanks Joe....the Osage has been reported as SHIPPED...I hope it gets here tomorrow, just in time for some blazing hot weather here in Boston, Florida. :)
