  8. Awesome shave Keith. I did loll at the Janus. I received their monthly updates on the project so I can appreciate the quality craftsmanship, the attention to detail and the history behind its development. I just could not pull the trigger on purchasing it. The timing, given the current states of affairs or lack of depending on your point of view, did not justify the purchase. Boy was I tempted.
  9. Nice shave, Joe!
  10. Beautiful setup of gear, Keith! I admire the work that went into the Janus, and was glad to see him pull it off. I think he managed to catch the spirit of the original, and make it even better looking. The bottom line is that you like the razor, and enjoy the shaves with it. That’s what matters the most.
  11. That’s what I’m afraid of. Not worth chancing it.

  14. Thursday's Shave

    Gillette Contract Tech
    Gillette Silver Blue (1)
    WCS Beacon Synthetic
    Soap Commander 'Wisdom' Shaving Soap
Dickinson's Witch Hazel (I actually use this every shave)
RazoRock King Louis Lavender Aftershave Tonic

Busy day and I missed my morning shave. Luck would have it though that an order from Italian Barber arrived at my doorstep in the afternoon, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to use the new aftershave. Now I have something to properly pair with this soap I've had for about a year (which I really enjoy BTW).

2 passes this evening with no touch-ups left me with a socially acceptable CCS>DFS. I plan on shaving in the morning so this result is just what the Dr. ordered.
The King Louis Lavender aftershave tonic has a wonderful scent with a nice latent menthol kick to it (more than I expected).
