Thank You, Gents. Today, two soap in the shave battle. KEPKINH Frosty Lemon is bold and natural, Alvarez Gómez Barbería is refined and subtile. Aftershave today is GFT Skin Food, so a gel more close to a balm than a splash. The "splash" is a perfume, an EDC. The two, one per side. Head to head contest. When is about soaps, I load the same brush each pass. Few seconds each, and then FL lathering. And clear the lather unused, as usual. Soaps shave battle takes a little more time. Today I used almost 30 minutes. So I started a quarter before my usual time.
Razor - Supply V2 Soap - MWF Brush - Jason's beautiful 30DC LE A/S - Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender My wife got a text from her best friend, who cleans the house for us, that she was on the way...much earlier than normal. So much for a relaxing shave. "Go Time" mode activated. A quick load and face lather of the MWF. It did its job perfectly fine, even using just the residual lather for the XTG passes. One final application from the brush, then one more pass ATG. Perfection still achieved. A nice splash of CL aftershave for fun. Have a great Friday everyone!
Thanks Bruce! It's a real nice shaver. I have to use it more often. My problem is that I have plenty of straight razors that are just as excellent. It's a nice problem to have, but I tend to pick certain razors more often at the expense of others.
