Early morning shave, very late evening post.

My role, as Hoke, continued this morning as I had to take my wife to her high school so see could participate in the 2020 graduation ceremonies. As a result, my son and I had a nice breakfast at IHOP, then a trip to the library for an hour ( he wanted to read his book). At least we were cool. After we picked up his mother we headed home.

With the temperature get close to 90 the last thing I wanted to do was put on the oven to bake chocolate chip cookies. SWMBO volunteer my culinary skills to make two dozen cookies for a charitable organization to be auctioned. Imagine someone bid $80.

I had a relaxing afternoon following my baking of these cookies. You know I had to have one.

Today’s shave was probably the most comfortable of the four that I had with the Feather Super Pro. Three passes with no errors and irritation. The alum was noticeably quiet. I am coming down the home stretch of the JustOneJuly themed shaves. I will make it, but the soap will be Edmund Fitzgerald before the end of the week.

I hope everyone had a great Saturday.

  9. Thank you, Joe! I hadn't given much thought to oud, until your July shave posts with Stallion peaked my interests. Then I remembered I had the jar of LPL Oud -Santal and used it again. After using it, I went looking and came across the Tuscan Oud that I remember reading about before. Then it found its way into my shopping cart... :D
