    A big smile for Sunday, this smiling 9/8 Mike Martinez is a monster. For a monster blade I decided to go with a super lather, AoS tallow and AoS cream with some M-bomb added for good measure. Nick my self on the very first set down right under my nose, fortunately it was small and stopped bleeding before the second pass. An excellent shave.

    Great shave, Keith! Has it been your experience that you get a closer shave with your straight razors than with your safety razors? I get extremely close VBBS shaves with my AC razors using a Feather Super. Guys on the SRP seem very annoyed when I state this. They insist that their straight shaves are far closer than they have ever received with a safety razor, and are incensed at me when I don’t buy into the orthodoxy. All I say which seems to really piss them off is that I’ll believe it when I experience it. Ideologues are the same in every arena it seems! I spent my career as a data scientist, and as such like the facts to speak for themselves. Oh well!

    Great shave, Andrew! There’s nothing more difficult than saying good-bye to a faithful, loving animal companion. I’ve had to do it too many times in my life!
